ZOO-BOTANICA 2009 fairs are history. They should be regarded as extremely successful and fairs’ statistics confirm that: 

Gross area of the fairs counted 6600 m2. 133 exhibitors were present at the fairs – 70 per cent of them in “zoology” section and 30 per cent in “botany” section. More than 19.000 people visited the fairs!
The following awards were granted during the fairs:

THE MOST INTERESTING ZOOLOGICAL EXHIBITION STAND – the award was granted to Klub Malawi for the most interesting arrangement and layout 

THE MOST INTERESTING EXHIBITION BOTANICAL STAND – the award was granted to Ogrody Rabiega for the beautiful decor and bold selection of plants 

THE MOST INTERESTING EXPOSITION – the award was granted to AquaKris for a non-standard layout and vast amount of effort put in arranging the stand

THE MOST INTERESTING ZOOLOGICAL PRODUCT – the award was granted to SUPERKUWETA – for a self-cleaning litter box 

Distinction:

In ZOOLOGY section – the distinction was granted to the company distributing sensational flat aquaria

In BOTANY section – the distinction was granted to the company GURAMI 1 for an interesting combination of terrarium and aquarium hobby in an appealing plant layout 

The awards were also granted in a contest for the fairs’ most interesting tank. The best tanks were chosen on the basis of the professional contest’s jury judgement as well as the visitors votes:

1st award – weekend stay in Hotel Relaks in Karpacz (SPA, swimming pool, sauna) sponsored by WIGOR company – was granted to Górnośląskie Stowarzyszenie Akwarystów (tank no. 16). 

2nd award – aquarium set ReefMax sponsored by Trzmiel company – was granted to PKMD (tank no. 23) 

3rd award – aquarium set sponsored by Signifer company – was granted to Marian Wojtaszek (tank no. 3) 

Professional section:

1st award – weekend stay in Hotel Relaks in Karpacz sponsored by WIGOR company – was granted to Argus company (tank no. 8) 

2nd award – multifunctional printer sponsored by Aqua Szut company – was granted to Trzmiel company (tank no. 34) 

3rd award – aquarium set sponsored by Novina.pl company – was granted to Signifer company (tank no. 2) 

We thank all participants that won awards and distinctions for taking part in the contests and we congratulate them on their success. We would also like to thank the organisers for a vast amount of effort put in preparation of the event.
