On April 25th, 2009 a group of aquarium hobbyists met within the confines of the more than 100-year-old farm in a picturesque city Nowy Dwór. They gathered there together with local authorities to learn something about an ambitious venture of the farm’s owner, Mr. Marian Wojtaszek. He is an aquarium hobbyist with a more than 30 years experience. His project will be brought to life thanks to the support of the foundation "Porozumienie Wzgórz Dalkowskich". He intends to launch an Izba Pamięci Ciężkiej Pracy Dawnych Mieszkańców (exposition devoted to the hard work of the former region’s inhabitants), set a gallery with aquaria and paludaria as well as a lecture hall in which, among others, aquarium lectures and workshops will be held.
