At the end of August this year , on behalf of British discus hobbyists - United Kingdom Discus Association (UKDA) i UK Discus Club (UKDC) - Mr. Dougall Stewart has officially invited Zarząd Polskiego Klubu Miłośników Dyskowców (board of the Polish discus club) to the 4th UK Discus Championships. The championship took place on October 11th – 12th 2008 during the Festival of Fishkeeping in Hayling Island in Great Britain. Full report will be issued in "Nasze Akwarium" issue no. 106. Hereby we would like to inform you about a success of the Polish discus breeder who is currently the Master of Poland and Czech Republic as well – Mr. Radosław Rożniat – who won the champion’s title in the general category of breed stock discus. He took two of the first places gaining the biggest number of points. Polish discus fish took good places in other categories as well so Polish contestants came back home with a significant collection of trophies. "Nasze Akwarium" congratulates on the success.
